This idea is used by many dog trainers such as such as Cesar Milan. But Doggy Dan’s methods depend on correction training beside some positive reinforcement methods. Positive reinforcement methods are used at the beginning of training. But if these didn’t work with your dog then the correction method is used.

We like

1- Signing up to the site is easy and quick. It is also easy to navigate the site and find information moving from one section to another.

2- There is 3 day trial for $1 and if you cancel within this trial you are billed no money. Besides you can get personal consultation via the forum where Dan answers the questions himself.

3- There is a group of science-based, positive reinforcement training techniques which we prefer in a section called everyday tools and techniques.

4- There is complete section for puppy training information where you can learn about dog obedience, housetraining, kennel training, leash Training, crate training and others which is very helpful for anyone who is new to puppy training.

5- There is a section for dealing with adult dog and their behavior problems such as barking, biting, jumping, digging and others. There is also another section involves the body language of dogs.

We don't like

1- The idea of pack leader is considered outdated as many studies proved that better results are achieved with science based, positive reinforcement method which is the best to apply with sensitive and intelligent dogs like German shepherds to avoid anything affect the good relation between you and your dog.

Is it for you?

If you are new dog owner and haven’t any background about training which makes you need continuous support, this is the best program to start with, but you have to filter which techniques to apply and avoid using the training methods that based on the dominance theory.
